Send a Christmas Card to Troops overseas
Here are 2 ways to send a card to the troops.
Option 1
This is an example of a card created by a child.
Please go to the web site. Select a picture that you like.
It will be printed and delivered to a member of Armed Forces for Christmas.
Option 2
This organization will have a list of service personnel serving in Iraq available after November 24th 2008. Select a name and send a card.
Send a Christmas Gift to Troops overseas
Please look at the site. The 'items requested' has a great list of needed and wanted items. There is a big list. Think of yourself over there and what you would wish for.
Drop off a Teddy Bear for a child.
The West Florida Growlers are having their annual Teddy Bear Drive. Drop off a teddy bear or other stuffed animal for a child. These will go to children whose family may not be able to provide presents. There are some drop boxes at some of the Karaoke venues. But if there is not, Normie or I will gladly transport the bear for you to the next drop box.
Help a Wounded Warrior.
This is a group of wounded and disabled veterans that help returning veterans who have been disabled during the service to Our country. Supporting them with adjusting to life after returning from Duty after experiencing a life changing Disability. Please visit this site and Donate or Help at any time of the year, not only at Christmas time.
